Recognizing this shift, Storm® has expanded its Surge Pre-Rigged Series with three all-new forage-specific profiles—the Surge Bluegill, Surge Crappie and Surge Goby—while also introducing a new 2.5-inch Surge Minnow that brings one of the lineup's most versatile baitfish profiles to an even wider range of fisheries and species.
Built Around Realism
Every bait in the Surge family is designed to imitate important forage species with realistic body profiles, detailed finishes and lifelike swimming actions. The result is a lineup of baits that can be tied on and fished immediately without additional rigging or tuning.
Each model is internally weighted for long casts and features realistic 3D eyes, a premium VMC® Black Nickel hook and a unique dorsal fin design that doubles as a natural weed guard, allowing anglers to confidently fish around vegetation, wood and other cover.

Designed to imitate one of freshwater's most important forage species, the Surge Bluegill combines a highly detailed body profile with a tantalizing swimming action that attracts bass, pike and other predators that routinely feed on panfish.
The Surge Crappie delivers the same realistic design philosophy in a profile tailored to crappie forage. Its natural body shape and swimming action make it an ideal option whenever predators are feeding on juvenile panfish.
Built to mimic one of the most influential forage species in northern fisheries, the Surge Goby features a realistic goby profile that darts, glides and crawls naturally across bottom-oriented structure. Its compact profile and lifelike movement make it an excellent option for smallmouth bass, walleye and other predators that rely heavily on gobies throughout the Great Lakes and beyond.
A New Size for an Established Producer
Already established as a versatile multi-species producer, the Surge Minnow lineup now welcomes a new compact 2.5-inch size.
Pre-rigged and perfectly balanced right out of the package, the Surge Minnow requires no additional rigging or tuning. Simply tie it on and fish.
