Rapala’s Rippin’ Rap and Original Floating Just got New Walleye-Catching Colors

Did You Hear That? Here Comes Rapala’s Rippin’ Rap® in Two New Walleye-Catching Colors. Due to its signature rattle, you can always hear a Rippin’ Rap® coming. 

Walleye have been hearing it for years now, and, unfortunately for them, it still gets them every time.

To build upon the Rippin’ Rap’s walleye yum-factor, Rapala is introducing new colors to the lineup. Now, the Rippin’ Rap is available in the colors Purple Shades and Ruby Antifreeze, two colors that are hot around the Great Lakes region and Midwest walleye country. 

The Rippin' Rap features a lipless, deep belly profile designed to crank, swim and rip. With its skinny sides, this bait flutters on the drop. Hard vibrating action on fast or slow retrieves accented with a loud, distinctive BB rattle system. It features textured scales and gills with deep-set 3D holographic eyes. 

Super easy to fish, the Rippin' Rap® is perfect for pulling over or through grass, bouncing off timber and Rippin' through rocks. Long-casting with variable running depth, this one is just right for clear water where look is key or for fishing stained, dark water where just the right sound is essential. Building on its legendary reputation, the Original Floating lure is now available in three new colors: Chrome Blue, Metallic Silver, and Nordic Perch.
