Angler Profile

"Must Have" Rapala Lures and Why:

Shad Rap®: Hands down the best cold water crankbait, Storm Arashi® Cover Pop: Draws some amazing strikes from big bass, Buzzbaits: Quiet buzzbait that fish won't let pass them by!

This Year’s Favorite Rapala Lure:

Scatter Rap® Shad

The One “Go To” Rapala Lure:

T-1 Spinnerbait 1/2 Chart/White Tandem blades Gold/Silver. This bait cover all bases, depths and situations.

Favorite Lake:

Santee Cooper, SC. I have caught more 7+ pound largemouth out of this lake than any other one place.

Favorite Fishing Memory:

Tough one! I have had so many great days on the water. Some days even when the fishing isn't the best, the scenery and being in God's creation can make all other problems go away. One that would stand out though would be catching a 10-9 Largemouth off of the bed on Lake Kissimmee in the Bass Southern Open in 2011. I saw this fish late in the day and caught it on my last cast! It topped off a 29-11 bag, my personal best.
