Rapala Promotes Jensen
to Regional Sales Manager
Rapala USA
has promoted Matt Jensen to Regional Sales Manager. Effective April 2007, Jensen will bring his
sales knowledge and passion to a new level.
Jensen
began his career with Rapala as a Customer Service Representative and quickly
moved to the role of Sales Associate. Matt’s
new responsibilities will include managing all customers and sales activities
in the territories of W.L Carter, Jones & Company and The Hammond Group.
“We are thrilled to
promote Matt to his new position as Regional Sales Manager,” says Zack Swanson,
vice president of sales for Rapala. “He
has taken his dedication and passion for our brands and applied them to his
customers and our trade.”
Rapala Reels up Holterhaus as Sales Associate
Effective
March 2007, John Holterhaus will move from his
current position as Customer Service Representative at Normark to his new
position as Sales Associate. John will
be responsible for managing the Trophy Dealer Program on a national
level.
“John is a
welcomed addition to our sales team,” says Zack Swanson, vice president of
sales for Rapala. “With his knowledge of
the sport and our products, we look forward to watching him continue to grow
within our team.”
Holterhaus, an outdoor enthusiast, is a Minnesota native who
enjoys bass and musky fishing as well as fall bird hunting. “I have been a fishaholic ever since I can remember,” says Holterhaus. “The
opportunity for me to bring the Rapala products I have been using to the trade
is awesome.”
Rapala
Lands Rosen for Customer Service Representative
Bart Rosen
will replace Holterhaus in Customer Service as a Customer
Service Representative beginning March 2007.
“Bart’s
in-depth knowledge of the fishing tackle category is an easy addition to our
Customer Service team.” says Gregg Wollner, executive
vice president for Rapala.
Rosen, a Minnesota native, is an
avid angler with a passion for Musky Fishing.
“I am
excited to join the team at Rapala,” says Rosen. “My passion is fishing and I am pleased with
the opportunity to apply my passion to my career with the Rapala brands.”
Previously,
Rosen was with Drift Control/Beckman Nets as a territory sales representative.
