What is the difference between models RGSDS-50 and RSDS-50?
The RGSDS-50 model is the more advanced model. This scale has the ability to store the weight of more than one fish and will give a sum total of up to eight fish. This model also has a back-light and can display weight in pounds or kilograms.

How do I calibrate my digital scale?
All of our digital scales calibrate when turned on and zeroed out (Tare).

How do I use the tare feature on my scale?
The tare feature on your Rapala digital scale allows you to weigh fish in a container without including the weight of the container. Simply place the container on the scale and Tare out the weight on the scale, then add your fish. The weight on the scale will now reflect only the weight of the fish.

How accurate are your digital scales?
Model PGLW-75 is graduated in 2lb increments. The package states +/- 1 increment accuracy, not 1lb accuracy. The 75lb model is accurate within 2lb. Our scales are accurate within 1 increment which is the standard used by the IGFA (International Game Fish Association).

How do you convert the scale from kilograms to pounds?
In measure mode, press and hold the "memory" button until LB OZ, LB and Kg appear on the display. Once you have the one displayed that you want, release the button to choose the unit that you wish to use.
