How to Checkout

STEP 1: SHIPPING

You have the option of checking out as a guest, logging into your rapala.com account, or creating a new rapala.com account.

CHECKOUT AS GUEST
If you are not already logged in to a rapala.com account, you will automatically be brought to Guest Checkout. To checkout as a guest, simply enter your email address twice and then enter your shipping address and proceed to the Billing step of checkout.

OR

ALREADY LOGGED IN
If you already logged in when you proceed to checkout, you will see a welcome notification at the top of the page. Simply choose your shipping address and proceed to the Billing step of checkout. If you already have a default shipping address defined it will automatically be selected for you. (If you would prefer to Log Out or checkout as a guest, you can do this during the first step of checkout.)

LOG IN
If you would like to Log In to your rapala.com account to complete your order, and save your order details to your account, simply click on the “Log In to My Account.” link at the top of the Checkout Shipping page. You will need to provide a valid email address that is already registered as a Rapala.com account and enter the respective password to Log In. After Logging In, you will see a welcome notification at the top of the page. (If you change your mind and decide to Log Out and checkout as a guest, you can do this during the first step of checkout by simply clicking “Log Out”. at the top of the page)

CREATE A RAPALA.COM ACCOUNT
To Create a Rapala.com Account while checking out, click on the “Create an Account “ link at the top of the Shipping page of Checkout. Then enter and confirm your email address and password. Once your shipping information is complete, click Proceed to Billing and your account will automatically be created.

By creating a rapala.com account, you will enjoy a faster checkout experience, be able to view your order history, track your orders online and create a wish list.

SHIPPING ADDRESS:

  • An Address “Nickname” is not required but will help you identify what addresses are in your saved address book (ex. Home, Work, Dad’s House, etc). (This is not an option for Guest Checkout)
  • You will be required to fill out your First Name, Last Name, Address 1, Zip Code, City, State, and your Phone Number. We ask for your phone number in case we need to contact you about the specifics of your order or the delivery of your order.
  • Checking “Use this Address for Billing” will auto populate the billing address section for you, to make your checkout process easier.
  • Checking “Save Address to Address Book” will save the address you have entered in the address field to your Rapala.com Account address book. After saving your address you may select it from the address dropdown field the next time you are signed into your Rapala.com Account. (This is not an option for Guest Checkout)
  • Checking “Make this My Default Address” will auto populate your address fields with the address you defined as your default address. While creating a rapala.com account your first address you enter will be automatically asigned as your Default address. You may change this by adding a new address after creating your account. (This option is for customers who are Signed in to their rapala.com account only)

SHIPPING METHOD:

  • Select the shipping method you prefer for delivery. The default is Ground Shipping. Prices will adjust according to the selected shipping method.
  • Any applicable surcharges and discounts will appear in the Shipping Method section as well as in the Cart Total Summary at the bottom right corner of the page.
  • Standard Ground Shipping - Estimated Arrival in 7-10 Business Days (Physical address required for Otter Sleds and Shelters. Allow 7-14 Business Days for Otter Sleds and Shelters. Ground Shipping not available for Alaska & Hawaii.)
  • Express Shipping - Estimated Arrival in 3-5 Business Days (Physical Address required for delivery. Allow 5-10 Business Days to Alaska. Allow 4-7 Business Days to Hawaii. Not available for Otter Shelters or Sleds.)
  • Priority Express Shipping - Estimated Arrival in 2-4 Business Days (Physical Address required for delivery. Allow 5-10 Business Days to Alaska. Allow 4-7 Business Days to Hawaii. Not available for Otter Shelters or Sleds.)

PLEASE NOTE: Orders are usually processed within 24 hours and shipped out within 48 hours. We do not guarantee same day processing or shipping. We process and ship orders Monday Friday, excluding holidays.

Then, Click “Continue To Billing” to proceed to Billing

STEP 2: BILLING & SUBMIT

The shipping address that you validated from step 1 should now appear at the top of the page. You may edit your shipping address by clicking the Edit Shipping Address button.

Billing Address

  • Checking “Use Shipping Address for Billing” can be checked to use the shipping address or unchecked to enter a different address for Billing.
  • An Address “Nickname” is not required but will help you identify which addresses are in your saved address book. (This is not an option for Guest Checkout)
  • You will be required to fill out your First Name, Last Name, Address 1, Zip Code, City, State, and your Phone Number. We ask for your phone number in case we need to contact you about the specifics of your order or the delivery of your order.
  • Clicking “Select From Saved Addresses” will drop down a list of saved addresses for you to choose from and auto populate the required fields for Billing Address section. You may “Add New Billing Address” by clicking the button below the address.

Items you placed in your shopping cart while you are shopping on rapala.com will remain there for 28 days or until they are purchased, added to your wish list, or removed.

Payment Options

You can choose to pay with a credit card or with PayPal. We accept U.S. issued Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Before Placing Your Order

Please make sure to review your order and shipping and billing addresses for accuracy. Once an order has been submitted it cannot be cancelled.

Please note, the buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the shipping address.

When your information is filled in completely and accurately, click the green Submit My Order at the bottom of the page. You will know your order has gone through when you see the Confirmation Page thanking you for your order.

If you do not receive a Confirmation Page, but do receive an Confirmation email, please contact us.
